Purna Dhyanam
A practice for nurturing peace, balance, and inspiration in one's daily life
Our Destiny is WholenessIn this world we are experiencing an age where the search for Truth, reverence for life, and the ideal of a harmonious and inspired life journey seem elusive. Purna Meditation was developed to teach us that true joy and peace is within reach, that our Destiny is Wholeness, and in order to experience this we must bring this Knowledge into our daily lives. The journey to Wholeness can be embarked upon no matter what phase we are in our life path. When one is attuned and open, the Ultimate purpose of life can be revealed and the Realization of one's Whole, Complete, Divine Nature can be achieved.

In Purna Meditation the first process of realizing one's Divine Nature is the purification of mind. Sri Svamiji says, “What you have in your mind, that you have in your deed, and that you speak:” all three are aligned. The practice of Purna meditation was empowered by Sri Svami Purna to offer strength and focus to support the unfoldment of one's purification of mind and heart, and ultimately to lead one to the Realization of Wholeness. 'Purna' means whole, complete, perfect. Practices such as these are very rare and precious as they are empowered with spiritual energy and carry the potential for authentic transformation.
Purna Meditation was developed in order to assist the process of integrating mindful practice in one's daily life. It is an invitation to transform the life experience to one of harmony within one's surroundings, balance and purity of mind and emotions, and attunement to the Highest.

"All that is there is Whole and I am Whole. My Destiny is Wholeness. Remember this Knowledge and understand, go deeper, and bring that Knowledge into Light. Bring it into your vibrant Life, your Living Life, so the Knowledge becomes you."

A Practice of Attuning the MindPurna Meditation is a practice of relaxation of mind and attunement to Source. When your mind is relaxed, you are relaxed; when your mind is at peace you are at peace; when your mind is calm, you are calm. Your mind interacts with your body, your senses and your emotions. Meditation is when your mind is fixed on the Highest of High. In the Bhagavad Gita Krishna reminded Arjuna: 'Fix your mind on Me'. Thus when you fix your mind in attunement on the Highest, it is then that the energy will flow, thereby opening the heart."
The practice of Purna meditation can be applied at any time in one's day. It is designed to be integrated into one's daily routine in a very natural way. As Sri Svamiji has often said, "Many people try and force meditation. That will not work. One has to....". The most opportune time to practice Purna Meditation is in the morning before attending to daily activities and in the evening just before bedtime. These times are recommended as they are ..... |

What does the Practice entail?
The Practice of Purna Meditation consists of pranayam or breath practice, mind relaxation techniques, visualizations, a mantra, and finally a closing mudra. Each technique was chosen to help one attune in the deepest and most profound way to the Energy. An important thing to mention is that as this practice is empowered by a living Master the Spiritual Energy within the practice is dynamic and personalized. This means that the Energy will work with you on your specific path orientation and help remove obstacles that are specific to you on your path journey.
How to Learn Purna Meditation
As Purna Meditation is an empowered practice it necessitates an Initiation in order to fully receive and connect to the Spiritual Energy within the practice. This initiation includes a detailed practice guide, an empowered mantra card, and a group workshop to discuss more detailed aspects of the practice.
